No. Nor would many unless it was from remain to leave (imo).

No - I just wish the government would act more quickly in taking advantage of our new status.

One quick fix would be to remove the 5% VAT from fuel bills. I have read that they promised it would be.

EU fishing permits are a farce. We we told we would be in control of our waters. It seems that Macron has more control than us though.

The farce of the Irish Sea border needs sorting. Article 16 was specifically put in the treaty should there be problems. The Irish nationalists declare that there are problems. They declared there were problems months ago. Those problems persist.

I voted to remain because I could not see an exit that would not end in tears. Now we are out I am happy to remain out , because if we went back they would screw us into the ground.

This ' Brits did not know what they were voting for ' insults the average Brit and suits the arguments of the politicians who were out of touch.

There were certainly a lot of tears along the way and the desperate attempts to row back on leaving left us with a very far from perfect deal.

I voted for Brexit because I couldn't see a future membership of the Federation of European States (which the EU is striving for) that wouldn't end in even more tears for us.

I voted to leave (and voted to not join in the first place) but one of my daughters totally disagrees with me.  I can understand because she has worked both in France and Germany and has pensions there.  I don't really know how that is sorted out.  Maybe by asking for a pension forecast?

It's odd how so many nay sayers have a personal interest for reasons like that.

i voted to leave because, the common Market was a great idea
but the United States of Europe is not..
if it had been a level playing field why do German French and Spanish pensioners get so much more than we do?
without our payment the united states of europe are on a shaky peg, and as for the irish question,
let those who are Brits, return to the mainland and allow the irish to pay for the whole island...
yes klondike, the most arrogant one i knew, who was a table thumper university graduate [who therefor knew better than i did] had a second home there and was buzy trying to get rid before we parted..

This thread on the 'other site' has been deleted. Scatterbrain went off on a 'all Brits are thick for voting for Brexit' tack and when people said it was a boring rant, Chris deleted the whole thread.

There would have been a less drastic possibility....

Indeed & I was flamed by some members of PF for using the phrase 'vested interests' when describing Remainers.

I'm on a thread there about the EU, started by Akbuk, whose posts I respect, he tells it as it is.  Sciatica of course is the main disagreer as usual.  I think I just made up that word
