Interesting left arm spinner, oft forgotten for his cricketing abilities. 121 for England at 37? not so good.

I'd have Phil Edmonds, only 4 more wicks and only 3 runs cheaper, but 17 with the bat v Tuff's 5 and a superb fielder whereas 'The Cat' was a distinct liability anywhere.

However I'd have him today, whatever his liabilities, since he got real revs on the ball.

sometimes I wonder who was the worst fielder for England - dear old Monty Panesar was surely in a class of his own.
Tufnell was in the 'little girl' category - when he was good, he was very good - 2 tenfers, 5 fifers, but when he was bad....
