Police arrive to arrest someone over 'hurty' words on social media....

I think it's National Pride Month. Lots of forces waste our money doing that to their cars. Oy mentioned that he had been out on a photoshoot of a Pride march.

So is them ditching half of their uniforms for multicolour clown costumes and dancing with the marchers. They are supposed to be there for crowd control and safety not to make political statements or virtue signal.

The Police don't or won't 'Police' things like Pride, Remembrance day or Armed Forces Day parades in my old home town. The local council have to arrange a private security firm to do that. The Police on the day in their rainbow car are there to represent their part of their organisation, just like the others such as the NHS, local businesses and community groups etc.

I'd suggest that the police and NHS being taxpayer funded should  concentrate on their core functions.

The NHS has record waiting lists. GP appointments are nigh on impossible to get. Better work on that than on attending any parades.

I heard on TV news that only around 1% of recorded crime is ever prosecuted. Meanwhile one police force managed to send 5 officers to cuff and arrest somebody who retweeted a piss take of the new Pride flag. That bloke was later released with no charges brought. Bit like the burglars and the like except they don't actually get arrested in the first place.

I agree totally & they should not be allowed to appear in their respective uniforms or use public money to rebadge their cars etc.

I have no confidence in the police at all - "without fear or favour" has been replaced with just "favour" for the woke agenda.
