It was my birthday last week, I've had a weekend away in Leicestershire at a lovely spa, with my daughter and daughter in law and some friends.  Fabulous place, we've been going for quite a few years, it's a real treat.  Unfortunately the facial, lovely as it was, hasn't knocked thirty years off! 

Back to normality (whatever that is) now, but can't complain.  Had some blood results, I'm no longer pre-diabetic   and the postie brought me news of a small win on the Premium Bonds

How wonderful - the Spa, the Premium win, and the escape from pre-diabetes.  They say things come in threes!

Hi everyone - the weather goblins are throwing the clouds about and making them weep!

Friends coming round for coffee and cake - I have a Lemon Drizzle cake in the oven and a Walnut loaf on the cooling rack. Might make a few cheese scones as well. Other than that - nothing planned.
