Encouraging news.  I hope they are successful, and it is reassuring in a way that the poor animal still has access to food and water.
I assume that even sheep can feel lonely and, of course, that matted hair must weigh a ton.

Hooray.. I am so pleased to read about a rescue attempt..
Also pleased that she has food and water..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

This is good news, SSPCA must have thought better of it after public concern.

It seems that everyone is saying that it is difficult, if not impossible, to reach that poor animal.

So how did someone manage to get close enough to take that photograph?

If they can't actually rescue it, can they not at least get close enough to shear its coat?

If it were £100k in used banknotes in sacks, it would be gone by morning!

Kayaker and zoom lens.

Can't they take down one of those trolley things, used to clean windows on tower blocks ?   there must be some way of reaching this poor soul.

Or a helicopter.  Fasten a band under it and lift it out on to land.
