Alex

Another nice day here, I'm off to a garden centre, taking my cousin this time.

Went for a quick check at the GP earlier, I'm fine! After lunch I'm off to the charity shop, gave the exercise class a swerve.  Its quite cool here today, even wore a scarf when I went out.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Our GP practice don't even answer the phone!

Five of us met up for lunch today at the pub and had a lovely three hour natter, making up for time lost in covid.

I'm stuck at home today as the old jalopy has gone to the garage, but wouldn't you know it's cold and dull so no sitting in the garden

3 in a row now. Was Easter and Whitsun then Bliar added May day. They all have different names though now. There'll be an extra one for the Queen's 70 years on the throne this year but possibly continuing.

Does that mean that May Day is bloody labour day.. ?
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I checked to make sure I was correct and it seems I wasn't.

Michael Foot, the UK's Secretary of State for Employment, cemented the public holiday in the 1980s.

This morning I re-potted some Hostas, did a line full of washing, fixed a hole I'd pulled in me cardy, sat and watched my team, got petrol, went shopping, took my non-driver friend to three different supermarkets, drove home, then unpacked it all - that's the bit I hate
