We've had a good day. We went to visit my daughter and grandchildren in Manchester. She went to a lot of trouble to make us a roast dinner and had made a big hamper of treats for my birthday present tomorrow. My favourite Thorntons champagne truffles, special cheeses, wine etc.

We hadn't seen the grandchildren since Christmas so it was lovely to see them again and my GS had Paul playing on his Virtual Reality game. Paul was stabbing women who were swinging clubs with nails sticking out! Paul gave up after he had accidentally kicked me and then nearly fell over! If you get offered a go on one - don't!
