how about a few more samples? As for my location, born in Plymouth but we moved when I was just about two. During the war dad was a circuit manager for Gaumont cinemas so we moved around a lot. Settled down in Hampton, Middlesex in 1947 and until moving up here in 2003 lived all the time in Surry after my first marriage in 1965

don't know if it is still true, but apparently Haslemere used to have the highest proportion of first class season ticket holders to London of any town in the Home Counties. No idea where, when or by whom the data were calculated.

Morning, Finally a lot less wind about, what a racket through the night. Am away up river with the dog this morning for a walk, nobody about and that suits me fine. Got my 2nd hospital appointment tomorrow morning and this is the one I'm dreading, I don't have a very high pain threshold and this one is going to hurt. 😥😭
