Picking my neighbour up this evening after he had a long weekend on Orkney with his sister

Would be interesting to hear her views about Orkney joining Finland.

I was up earlier today, 10.30 am     I got stuck into the gardening as you can see !




That pot in the front was a bay tree, it didn't survive winter.  I'm trying to decide if it should receive the last rites now 😰

I see all the weeds in the pot survived. Must be some sort of moral there...

Yeah they kind of took over after it died.

If you cut the top off you'd see if it was past resurrection from the state of the trunk inside. I suspect it probably is done for but I bet you'll leave it anyway to see what happens next year.

I can't see properly but one of those weeds might be errr... well... weed.

We've just come home.  Its no news. Got to the hospital to find the appointment has been rearranged for next week. But no one told my OH.  Not impressed.  Someone should ring him today hopefully.
