Just found something useful. Was going to copy/paste that then saw a load of posts followed so hit quote instead and only the highlighted bit was copied. Saves deleting chunks out of a quote which is wnat I've always done in the past. Apologies if I'm teaching folks to suck eggs

Can't get it to work.  Must be doing it wrong.

I highlighted the "saves..." sentence and hit quote, but it quoted the whole post.

I've tried again and highlighting brings up an extra button "Quote selected text" which is what I must have clicked.





Just wondering if you are using the WYSIWYG editor. I thought I'd set that as default but it may not be.

Not a lot on today, walked Dageus, got a few messages at Tesco, went to get diesel for Yeti, and now home. After lunch might have a while catching up on recorded telly.

Klondy, am doing this on my iPhone and no such option occurs.

It will be handled by javascript and probably mobiles aren't up to it so don't get the same script. I'll have a look on my Android phone.

What about using desktop view?  Can't work out how to do that on my iPhone though.  Different for android iirc?

Didn't work on that either. I'm guessing that desktop view only changes the layout and the javascript remains simplified. It depends what the mobile browsers can support and whoever produced the code would be aiming at the lowest common denominator in the scripting anyway. Better something just isn't offered than error messages when some unsupported feature is tried.

Hello everyone.  Pouring with rain here - and a lot of it seems to be on my craft room floor!  Not good.  Will have to go up onto the roof, find out what is amiss - and fix it !    Hopefully, will see you all later.

Morning, Snows gone and now we have rain...Sheeeeze.
Been to the pool as I missed yesterday and took The Hairy One to the forest hoping for a wee bit of shelter from the rain. HAH, not enough leaves on the trees for that,   home for the day now.

Hello everyone. Bright and sunny here - but chilly. Rain threatened for later so am glad the roof is fixed - no, not a flat roof, a proper pointy one. A tile had slipped about half way up - I had forgotten how heavy those things are. 

Card making today - one more for March and six for April. Might need a bacon butty first, just for inspiration! Have a fun day.
