My friend Shaun.. who I meet for a coffee sometimes is so tight.. He wouldn't buy the doughnuts in Morrison's because he said they were cheaper in Tesco.. We were in Morrison's at the time.. Tesco being a few miles away..But he was happy to let me buy some and he had one with a coffee that I made..  He's Irish.
My husband Sam was a bit tight .. He secretly bought shares.. He never went out for a meal.. He said he was saving for retirement.. He was 53 when he died.. Leaving me the lot.. He was Welsh.
I am happy to buy the coffee .. But not a fool.. I am English.
So I guess.. British is best..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..
