On Sunday, I am going to join a local group of volunteers who go round litter picking.  

Great idea.. 

The council brought me a litter picker, some rolls of rubbish bags and a loop (to hold the bags open) today.  My extra wide brimmed hat bought from Temu has been flown in from China too.  So I'm ready and raring to go.

My mind pictured an Aussie..

I blame the weight loss which has given me a new lease of energy!!  Strange how a long term illness has actually led to a positive lifestyle change!

We do the litter pick on the beach some days when we walk Dageus there. Almost all the locals take a turn or two.

Yes it was loose on the side of the A41 between Chester and Ellesmere Port which is dual carriageway and fast..  I put my 4 way flashers on and drove up on to the kerb, I got out but it was scared.  In the meantime a fella stopped just in front and put his 4 ways on too.  In the end I rang 999 and reported it to police.  I should probably have dialled the other number but I couldn't remember it !      

just realised I can't remember it either - but I reckon 999 was the right choice any way
