Unfortunately, she couldn't make it yesterday - needed emergency dental appointment - hopefully she will be up today and intends to stay for a fortnight.

Dreadful time of the year, I never go 'shopping' at all these days, far too tedious and exhaustive. Get all mine delivered by either Amazon or our local grocery market (a combination of many varied traders) you pay one source and they distribute the individual shops and stores their specific bills. So 15 orders from different suppliers, via one very large Mall, received in one go unpacked for you in the house - no delivery charge (they all share the cost) and a bottle of Ginger Port free as well.

You should be here at the moment ...

House filling up, 5 Dogs, Polecat (hiding in a Dolls House), deranged Parrot singing the US National Anthem at full belt (on the Hall Chandelier) and Bobo playing Boogie on the Piano underneath it! Local Sheriff on the Alto Sax in accompaniment (very good too).

Five ladies all shrieking with Laughter in the Kitchen, which resembles a 'Wine Bar'.

Then a Cricket Test match is on in the Study, much to the confusion of my American Cousins, who are being explained the LBW rule by my friend, an ex England no.4 Batsman to the seemingly constant cacophony of hissings, as beer cans join in the general medley of utter chaos!

Poor guy from Amazon tried to deliver something and just stood there laughing at it all!

Crazy but also rather wonderful!
