Smoke alarm on stairs beeped all night, I 'beeped' too,   I'm guessing it needs a battery.

And we have snow! Not for long I hope, I've an appointment on Tuesday.

Worth checking the date on the alarm before you replace the battery. They have a limited lifetime.
