I think it would be to great advantage to Reform if Tice were to take Farage's place, at least temporarily.
It would provide him with much needed publicity, as I suspect that many people still have no idea who he is.

GB News is certainly giving Reform the help and publicity it really needs, especially as so many people seem to be actually unaware of the party.  I'd advise everyone to think very carefully and take a strong interest in how things are panning out right now in politics.

I've just read somewhere that some old school colleague of Farage has been telling stories about some of Nigel's antics when at school, presumably to help disgrace him.

Ridiculous.

For the record, I too had some extreme views as a school child at a RC school and gave serious consideration to becoming a priest.  But, luckily, I realised I didn't fancy young boys that much and thus grew out of it.

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Reform UK

Nigel Farage is 'officially' the 'Honorary President' with an 'Emeritus' function only.

Richard Tice is the 'Leader', the co deputy leaders are; David Bull & Ben Habib.

The Party was formed in November 2018, by Nigel Farage and Catherine Blaiklock.

I think Tice is a decent man, who perhaps looks a little 'stilted' compared to Nigel, but he's sound, committed  and above all straightforward, good luck to them.

Ben Habib knows his stuff too  :upvote:

Yes, I think the leadership skills are there, especially if Nigel decides to take a more practical role in the party.
The real problem is that for a very long time, perhaps at least a century or more, there have only been two political parties which take turns to form the government.
Consequently people only talk about those two and, unbelievably, it seems that many people don't even know about any others than them.

So accepting that such taking turns to govern the country will never improve our lot, the future is bleak.

Has anyone watched it yet ?
I read a real 'hate Farage' piece in the Guardian - where else ? Really unpleasant article, though I must admit a chuckle when the writer described him thus -

"Farage, dressed in pastel shades like a Michael Portillo tribute act. "

I hope he doesn't regret this, but with 1.5 million in the bank he probably won't !

Maybe they could find a use for the abhorrent Grauniad instead of leaves in the jungle?

The story is actually quite amusing - at least as far in as I went was. Not one I can entirely agree with but the opening lines I certainly could....

So it begins again. The annoying and the terminally needy. And that's just Ant and Dec. Then there are the contestants. The very loosely titled celebs in I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! ITV's annual bingefest of sadism.

People you've never heard of. People you think you might have heard of. People you've heard of and wish you hadn't. All human dysfunction is here. An orgy of narcissism.

But then they fall off into moans about their arch demon Nigel Farage. Get over it lads. Against all odds you bloody well lost.

I watched it..
They have a loud squealing black woman.. A (delicate) soap has been..
They have a French cook who thinks because of his accent he is sexy..
A woman who is a critic on Masterchef.. She is strong..
Also a woman called Josie Gibson who cracked a joke with Farage over Brexit.. They both laughed.. They will become good friends I think..
I don't know these people..
If Farage can stick it out and take all that is thrown at him he will come good..
The public will see another side to him and soon tire of picking on him..
Good luck to him and if this is what he needs to do to get attention and proceed in politics than so be it..  At least he has made 1.5 million.. Which is peanuts compared to the Blairs and Johnsons of this world..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I hope he does well and, in fact, comes out on top.

Those who do pick on him, including the Grauniad of course, are either fools or anti-British lefties who hope for the ruin of this country.

The magazine that invented the name Grauniad have now become woke remainer establishment crawlers. I cancelled my sub years back but still recall a lot of the classic terms they came up with such as that one.

The Remainers will try and wear him down..

He's had plenty of experience coping with them. I don't any there will be his intellectual equal.

I am talking about the Remainers who vote for him to do the tasks..

Stick the ghastly Jeremy Hunt in there.. I dislike that man.. His eyes are too close together..
