Been in bed most of the W/E and yesterday feeling really rough. Had my 2 jags for flu and Covid on Friday, was ok till Saturday lunch time then something or other hit. I'm assuming it's side effects but can't be sure.

I've got my Covid booster jab booked for this Saturday but I've just had the reminder for the flu jab so I'll book that tomorrow.

      Are people still having Covid jabs ? If so, do you not have doubts about its effectiveness and aren't you worried about possible side affects a year or so down the line  ?

I had one booster in 2021 and stopped once the concerns about myocarditis and other issues arose. It's entirely up to each to make their own choices and I've made mine. I'm not going to post links or try to persuade anybody.

Once us oldies have made our minds up, it's difficult mostly impossible to change them. So I'm not trying to persuade anyone either,  just asking the question   

Well the declared positions so far - one had it, one booked and one saying no thanks. I expect most will be presenting their arms. I'm undecided on the flu one.  

I had my flu jab on Monday. Arm hurts a bit but I've had worse reactions. I've not decided about Covid yet.

I have always had my flu one ever since I became the age for it. I was undecided about the Covid one but the last couple of months there has been a lot of people catching it and landing in hospital, I don't want that so I took it, as did himself.

Not in a good mood today as I have to clear that bloody DPF on my car, it was belching out smoke yesterday in low gears when I accelerated.  So it's an 20 or so mile in 3rd gear down the A9 over revving to clear it before the light comes on.
If I'd known it would cause all this hassle I would never have got a diesel, had them before but without the filter.
Oh well, better go and do it while the roads quiet.

Morning all.  Raining here.

Sleeping on my MIL's sofa (am doing the evening/night shifts of care) is playing havoc on my back.

Not much planned today, other than s soothing soak in the hot tub and sleeping in a proper bed or even the floor if my spine keeps twinging.

Has anyone ever used those posture improving things which seem to mainly try to pull your shoulders back?
