Alex, if you find that recipe, please share.

Good luck on the ladders Phil.

Enjoy the mad final prep for tomorrow Scrumps.

Quiet day.  Was supposed to have an online tuition at 11 but they didn't show up.  Probably still asleep!!  So that'll happen at some stage today.

Bit of replenishing of plant pots.  We found a fantastic nursery (Kiwi, just off the M60 at Sale junction - well worth the visit JB.  Doesn't look much from outside, but brilliant inside)

Bit more flag repointing to fit in, as well as a touch of polyfillering in our bedroom as we prepare for decoration soon.

Alex

I will, but it was only for a potato dish and I think you had to "burn" these spices, I can't bloody remember.  When I had a working printer it was easy to print off recipes.

Flag repointing !  sure I've read somewhere you can buy some cement stuff that you just brush in, no back breaking pointing.  Of course I could have got that wrong too

dextrous63

There is indeed stuff you can brush in, or indeed water in.  We used that originally and it's lasted nigh on a decade.  I just happen to have some sand, cement, plasticiser and black colouring around as one obviously does.  Shame to waste it.  Not that hard to do bit at a time.

Audiology was open. About 8 weeks til I get their hearing aids. Incredible that there is even uniformity in the same county. They didn't even have a link to my central medical record and had to hand type in all my meds from the prescription form I was asked to take.

dextrous63

Weird.  As you recall, I went to specsavers and gave them the info about meds and general health.  They tested my hearing and programmed and issued the hearing aids there and then.

klondike

I assumed they only issued their commercial aids. Had I known they dish out NHS ones I'd have gone there or one of the others doing free hearing tests.

These are the ones I got.  Bluetoothed to phone.

Look similar to the ones I have from Kettering which are Danalogic GN. Northampton don't do the same brand so no idea what I'll be getting but I imagine they will be similar.  The Danalogic ones can have the volume and tone adjusted by an app but I don't find it useful and don't use it. Northampton mentioned that theirs are bluetooth but exactly what they mean by that I don't know. You have to buy something or other to send audio over bluetooth to the Danalogic ones. People you talk to don't need pairing to them though which is sometimes a pity.

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Look on the bright side - if it's heavy enough it'll wash your car. It is here too but not heavily enough.

Not a lot as it's raining off n on, the showers are heavy too. Think the rest of the morning will be catching up with jobs around the house. Then if I'm lucky and get peace n quiet I'll have a couple of hours with my online jigsaws and audio book.

Am still getting my head round your leg😳. Any chance you posting those piccies on here so that everyone's aware of what I'm on about?

I already did Dex, months ago. They were with me from the day I landed in hospital, knew all about it. I'd just not been over on the other other forum, you know why.

This one was just before I got all the clips taken out and I was able to go home. Leg was swollen to 3 times it's normal size and gawd it was sore.
