What exciting days you've all had .... and productive too

I've done very little of actual worth. And I aim to continue that way because I'm a natural slob.

One good thing ... it's cooler  though the weathermen have made murmuring noises about a heatwave in July.

Today I painted the black bits on my porch.. And I climbed up a step ladder...  Bloody scary..
Tomorrow I will paint the black bricks on the house..
The house is black and white.. fortunately the black bits I can do..  I'm on a roll..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Normal day, I've done the school runs & I've spent some time in quite reflection as it's a year ago that one of our cats died.

I have been buying a new Sofa, long needed, my cat who
died in February - redesigned the old one. I'm told it will be delivered in five weeks' time.

Morning all.  Overcast but (hopefully) dry.  Am taking Mrs Dex for a potter around Heaton Park via the tram, as am sick of driving and endless roadworks in which roads are blocked and/or narrowed to one lane with/without temporary traffic lights; and deffo nobody actually doing any work and no sign that they've even got round to starting yet!!!🤬🤬

Then perhaps a bit of shopping later and, if the weather keeps, a builder friend coming round to pop chimney cowls on.

Have a good day everyone.

Mind how you go on that ladder Scrumpy.  They scare the hell out of me at times!!

Excellent stuff Scrumpy😉😬

The weather decided to disagree vehemently with what the app predicted, so we did a walk up and down the Trafford centre before finding a lovely nursery/garden centre on the way home.

Sorry to hear about your cat GHF, my much loved cat who died a few years ago redesigned my sofa too, it was probably the same pattern as yours.

I retain, for sentimental reasons, a shredded cushion that set upon Fleur when she was a puppy. Back then, we had to beat her to the post, or that also rendered to confetti

Furniture is fine, but there are a couple of fence posts and other bits of wood which have been whittled away.  Will keep those.

Thanks, Alex, I had her nineteen wonderful years, my friend and
companion. I still talk to her.

I have a fairly shredded cushion, courtesy of Fleur she was a puppy - back then, you had to beat her to the post, or that got shredded as well!
