Aftnoon all .... I've surfaced.

It's still icky and humid and I'm grouchy. Still ... it's help with weight loss this weather doesn't it as you never feel like eating.

Sore point. I haven't weighed myself for a few days. When I did this morning I was 3lbs up. Not a clue how. I was hoping to have shed a pound or so.

Raven

Question......if it's a 2lb box of chocolates, how come you gain 5lbs?

Scrumpy

Decking stain can wait.. too hot.

You are not meant to eat the wrappings Raven..

I hope all goes well at the hospital GrannyMac...

Another puzzle with weight is why on the few occasions it is less that less is a fraction of a pound but when it goes up that is by a pound or indeed several?

morty

Well I'm succumbing to obesity today ... I've bought a punnet of strawberries and some scrumptious ice cream.
Tomorrow I can feel ashamed.

Thanks, its been a long day. Injection, then wait 2.5 hours so the radioactive stuff does its work, then a scan.  Xray after that. Luckily there's a park near the hospital. We took sandwiches and sat by the lake watching the baby ducklings.  Now its a wait for his options.  🤞🏼
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Everything Crossed for you both. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Yes. Hope they can sort it without causing any other issues. I went from suspected to tests to cleared so quickly that I didn't research it at all. I had a brother in law who had it maybe 15 years but we weren't in close contact and probably wouldn't have wanted details even if we had been.

GrannyMac

He's definitely got it, stage 3. The scans are to see if its spread.  His younger brother had it in his 60s, aggressive, stage 4, surgery was necessary, and fortunately successful.

Morning a lot cooler and no sun, I can function again. Have a Doctor appointment in 45 minutes, got a couple of things I want to discuss with her and hopefully I'll get sorted out. We're off to the beach with the Clyde's this evening and I'm quite nervous about it, not been in the saddle since Christmas Day, Dunc says it will be fine and as always he'll help me on and off. Wish me luck as I'm going to need it...Gulp.

Hope it goes well for both you and Mac. Health is more important than anything else at the end of the day.

I second that sentiment.

Fingers crossed for you both, GrannyMac.

Tesco delivery coming today, that's all. The drivers are great, they
bring it in and unpack for me. Always pleasant and cheerful.
