The man came to fix the boiler, only it wasn't the boiler it was me !  dopey here had programmed a timer back to front... no charge, he enjoyed the laugh 
Today is dull again, weekend supposed to be nice though.

Congratulations!

Having a very quiet lazy W/E, think I way overdid it through the week and now I'm paying the price. 
I tried to get back into my usual routine but it's too much for me yet, most annoyed as I'm not one to sit about.
Himself says he will take me out for dinner tonight, so that will be grand.

Raven .. you're doing grand and you're getting there. I'm a bit of a sloth but you sound pretty active so you might forget to pace yourself. It's easy done.

It's nice and sunny here today , with no threatening clouds. I don't believe it.

It's been a lovely day here.   I've been to Matalan in Bromborough, bought myself new trousers, a strappy nighty and some new knickers !        We also went to a warehouse where they sell everything for the florist, candles, furniture, clocks, plant pots etc etc... but since my last visit which was PC they've opened a cafe very nice too. We had a slice of Walnut & Coffee cake @ £3.50 very reasonable and a great cup of coffee 👍

Thankyou I did, but I'm glad to be back home again. No pub after dinner like we usually do, I just couldn't face it. I'm too tired and heading off to bed very shortly.

I burn the grass. The only grass that grows here is between the cracks of the block paving. It seems to grow better there that I did on any green weed patches I had before. 

The grass is cut.. It is warm out there..
'Burn the grass' !!   What !!! Like with a flame thrower.. ?

Can you imagine me with one of them.. !!
