another dull, damp day - fourth in a row

Beautiful day here yesterday. Not bad today but there is a bit of damp forecast around teatime. 

Alexa has told me that we might have rain around 6pm..
The sun is out.. I am going to cut the grass.. I must be careful not to go near the new grass.

Just cleaned the motor.. It's her birthday..

How much is a car wash nowadays  ? I guess it will vary, a north/south divide ?

Damned expensive down here.. Anyway my motor prefers a warm water fairy liquid wash..

I bet Mike doesn't need to wash his very often. 

On Saturday I was in a mini industrial estate in Ellesmere Port.   A group of Romanians were running a car wash from there and wanted £8 to wash my little Fiesta, I offered a fiver but they refused     

They used to be £5 outside and £10 with an inside polish and hoover. Then suddenly prices pretty much doubled. I wondered if there had been a crackdown on illegal immigrants doing the job until I remembered what country I live in.

It's when it clouds over and then your car gets washed. Some days here and from what I can gather from your posts most days there.

Got caught out today. Bank holiday. I never knew. Went out to catch the bus and the next one is 25 minutes away. Sunday service. Walked into town to get to the opticians on time. Probably good for me.

I am off to RHS Wisley Gardens later..  Such a beautiful place.. 
No sunshine at the moment..
