just watched the England women demolish Italy 68-5. Enjoyable to watch, but England need to improve their goal kicking - 12 tries but only 4 conversions

Daughter, granddaughter and their pooch stayed over last night.  Went for a walk in the park this morning, OH made bacon sarnies before they left. Two lots of washing out in the sun, spring feels as if it has arrived!
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

:yay:  :yay: Morning All, lovely here today wall to wall blue sky and some heat in the sun. Got the bedding in the machine the now it's a good day for it to dry. Fair chuffed I went to the pool at 7am and it wasn't as difficult as I thought it might be. I only did 14, swam up one way and walked back the other. First length was sore on the knee but after a couple it loosened off.  Only hard part was the top two steps out of the pool, might start doing some exercises on them as I have no stairs here. I decided yesterday that I need to return to my old way of life or I could end up an invalid, sooooo day one is a few hours in. :yay:

Well done Raven!  I'm missing my visits to our local pool, its being repaired and refurbished.  The one in town I've been going to on Mondays has suspended our aqua classes because its school hols! Not happy.   I've a class on Friday in yet another leisure centre, but once a week isn't enough!

I hope you keep improving.

Thanks GM, I'm not going every day just yet, Monday Wednesday and Friday for a couple of weeks then will try the 5 days again and building the lengths up slowly. Once I can get this Physio Lady to sign me off I can start thinking about getting back up North.

Build up slowly is best  :upvote:
Lovely sunny day here, so it's the garden for me.

Mixed success today. I had three things come from Amazon.

The good news...
Some Sketchers trainers. Really pleased. Super comfortable. Only slight gripe is the laces seem a bit short. I think da yoof only ever tuck them in so maybe that's why.

The not so good news.
A wireless light switch kit is pretty naff and far to fragile to last IMO. Returning.

I thought a humidifier may help with my dry eye as it rarely plays me up outside when the humidity is high. Its auto mode is useless as it measures too near to where it is putting out the mist.  It has been chuffing away for a couple of hours and the room humidity as measured by my weather station and Amazon air quality meter (a pretty useless device) hasn't shifted by more that 0.5%. What has happened is that the air quality monitor has been alerting me to poor air quality. It says there is a high level of particulates (I'm guessing the harmless water droplets) Usually it whinges about VOCs (volatile organic compounds) every time I cook, spray flies or fart. So another item going back.

Well done Raven.. You are getting there..

Beautiful sunshine today.. worked in the garden for a bit..
Hattie (granddaughter) popped in .. Hattie has the ability to mess up a kitchen just by walking through it..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

easily the best day of the year so far. Picked s-i-l up OK from Perth station - so good to have someone to talk to for a while

Really hacked off this morning. A week ago my Perth Chemist collected my prescription from the Docs, next day half of it was delivered but they were having problems getting the Oxycodone so on Thursday they had tracked down a bottle in Boots and sent the prescription to them. 9am this morning I'm at the counter to collect it, only to be told it's not ready and to wait 30 minutes.  :waiting:  :wtf: I said why is it not ready you have had it for 5 days :wtf: Herself just looked at me, I had struggled to get there as I had to park a good bit away, so the thought of hanging about till they got their finger out was not what I wanted to do, besides I had Dageus waiting in the car. I told them to forget it and she gave me the prescription back saying "oh well if you won't wait" I took it and before I left said I wouldn't have to wait if you incompetent Scunners had done your job. Went to my usual Perth Chemist, told them the story and they will deliver it as soon as they can.  :upvote:
As for Boots, never again.  :yell:

I though so too, If I'd not had Dageus I would have nipped over to the cafe and had a latte, but I couldn't leave him in the car all that time. I was heading straight out to Scone Park with the ball and lunger with him, didn't want to have to go back to the house to collect him so he came too.
