Quote from: Raven on February 19, 2023, 03:55:29 PMWe used to have Linedance Nights there back in the 90s, with Live Linedance Bands to play our music. Great times.

I wish I'd been able to crack Line Dancing,   I like country music.

I know it's off topic but has anyone heard of Josh Turner ?  just love his voice.

They really enjoy it.  West coast swing and Ceroc. We went to watch them compete in Blackpool Tower ballroom some years ago, a great crowd from all over the UK.  A lovely hobby to continue in retirement.

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

A few tip runs today.. I love 'em.
Painted a low wall the other day.. a cat decided to walk across it.. White footprints that go along the path and across a black bench seat.. It adds a bit of character I guess..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Quote from: Raven on December 19, 2021, 11:03:53 AMI expect I am wrong BUT, I was under the impression that it was released on purpose, and then bats at a live animal market were to be blamed.
But I simply do not understand why people have to mess around with dangerous stuff like these virus bugs in the first place :yell:

I think the answer is their paid too. For example under US law it's illegal to have establishments/plants experimenting with deadly viruses etc on US territory. So America had at least 9 such plants operating in the Ukraine under 'proxy' shareholders for the interests in the States undertaking essentially Germ Warfare source research. When The Ukraine became a World interest hotspot, these facilities became magically mothballed overnight, with no comment anywhere in the US about their aims or purpose for existence even.

Similarly 'Big Pharma' employed plants in Wuhan to experiment on their behalves, no doubt these places copied in the real owner of everything over there, (Chinese Govt) that they were doing for the World's self appointed woke and hypocritical policeman.

Morning, I'm getting out today  daughter is taking me out for brunch, going down the Perth/Dundee Rd to a place called "The Horn" going to have one of their famous bacon rolls and a coffee of some type, then back to Asda for some messages. I doubt I could walk round Asda so I'll wait in the car for her, doesn't sound much but I'm really looking forward to it. :yay:

I'm sure that will be really good for you. Enjoy your day.

Still cold here.. The sun is struggling to get through.. Only three daffodils open in the garden. The bird bath in back garden was cracked by the frost.. They now gather at the one at the front of the house.. I watch them from my big kitchen window..  I also keep an eye out for the black and white cats  (brothers) that are lurking about.. They hunt together..  :nooo:

Morning, Dry and cold here, had a terrible night of pain, and yelling everytime I moved. Neighbours must have thought I was being murdered, was sitting watching the lunchtime news yesterday and my left shoulder, about 3ins down started to feel very uncomfortable. An hour later I was in agony and yelping every time I moved, gawd knows what's happened.  But it's all locked up, daughter is taking me to the Chiropractor in an hour, hope he can help fix it, had to sit up and doze all night as I dared not lie down, the pain was horrible when I tried. Got up for an ice pack several times through the night as it helped take the edge off things. I'm soooo sick of bloody pain, it's one thing after another since 3rd of January, not had one day of no pain since my fall. I feel like I'm being punished for something but I don't know what.

Hope he can fix it for you. I've had success with a chiropractor in the past with lower back pain. I did have a frozen shoulder once which took months to clear but that presented as a pain in my elbow which the GP (back in the day when you could actually see one) told me was called referred pain.

I think a lot of these sudden onset pains for no obvious reason are caused by trapped nerves. I used to be plagued with no obvious reason back pain which I did think had cleared up after well over a year of no issues only to have a recurrence last Sunday which I spent pretty much constantly on a TENS machine along with over the counter only strength cocodamol. Pretty much fixed by Monday although still getting odd twinges even now. I've since acquired some prescription strength cocodamol from my granddaughter which will go in the layby should I get it back. They do have the unfortunate effect of healing my bum up though which the chemist strength ones don't.

Raven, Please try both of these or similar

Well well worth it. I get significant pain from Avulsions of (severance) of motor nerves from 47 years ago!

Both are brilliant (pop the pen Tens in a handbag for example) for £80 the pair they last years. My Tens pen is 21 years old and never needs recharging.

The massagers are brilliant for legs and lower spine, but wonderful for shoulders too!

There are other cheaper versions too

Evening, My Chiropractor was a big help he got me loosened off a lot. He says it's all to do with the weeks of walking with the zimmer. I am no longer walking upright like I normally do I'm walking kind of bent over it, along with the lack of exercise from swimming, now it's taking it's toll on me. I have to use ice packs on my shoulder also got some exercises to keep it loose and moving. Going to get back to the pool as soon as I can. Sooooo tomorrow I will get into my car for a wee drive and see how it goes.

Thanks Cass, will go and check them out.  :check:
