It must be frustrating for you Raven, because you're so active.   I was having a whinge the other day to an old friend, just about my leg, arthritis, back etc, et bloody cetera     She just said

"At our age listening to each others moans is what we do "     and she's right, whinge away girl it helps to get stuff off your chest

Last class in our local leisure centre today, the pool is being refurbished, and will be closed til at least August. Fortunately there are other pools across the city, I've booked into a couple next week, but its much more hassle to get to any of them. 

My leg has been improving (new knee perhaps in the future) and water based exercise is the best thing. I'm not surprised you want to get back in the water Raven!

I really miss it GM, my mum used to work in the old swimming baths in Perth and I was swimming before I was at school. Been a big part of my life ever since.

Really Really Chuffed with myself this morning, at last I managed to use my exercise cubii that I bought a couple of years back, I will start with a couple of minutes twice a day and slowly build it up.I got my David to place it under my compuer desk 3 weeks ago but I didn't have the bend in my knee to be able to pedal it. Now this knee is going to get some work.

Sunny here.. Off out to garden centre.. soon..

cold, wet and miserable - and the wind is bitingly cold, so no walk. Temperature is 3C, so that calculates to a wind chill factor of -2C, and I can well believe it.

I got fed up with my back gate sticking. Every time I nibbled a bit off it  expanded a little more. I possibly overdid it as I cut an inch off all the way down. I expect it will start to shrink back now.

Anyway today I'll have to repaint it. Possibly next week I'll have to screw more wood on to make up the gap.

Raven and Mike, my brother in law and sister in law are off to Perth later today. There's a monthly dance session at the Salutation, they do well for over 70s!  

We used to have Linedance Nights there back in the 90s, with Live Linedance Bands to play our music. Great times.

I'm sure tgey will have a great time
