Thanks Mike.

I just take each day at a time, but maybe the depressing state of life in general, for a lot of us I imagine, makes it seem worse.
Make every day count, each day is precious.

I think the sun is drawing people out again.  I am going for lunch with a friend who I have not seen for a while.  Maybe some people were frightened of covid and are not so bad now.
A local pub does a really tasty pensioners lunch and it is very reasonably priced.

Quote from: Diasi on February 13, 2023, 08:07:43 PMWell I've spent the last couple of days worrying about our remaining Yorkie who'll be 14 in May.

She's sleeping a lot & doesn't bother with her food like she used to. She will eat sometimes & sometimes she won't.

It's odd as when she goes out in the garden she can chase around & bounds back into the house but she's not keen on going for a walk, although once we're out she's fine & can do a fair old distance.

I'll keep an eye on her for the next few days.
I hope all is well with her.. Having the energy to chase around the garden and go for walks is encouraging.. Perhaps, being an old girl, she doesn't need to eat as much..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Alex

Hope your little Yorkie will be ok Phil  :upvote:

I hate when our precious Fur Babies get to this age. I'm dreading it with Dageus, he will be 11 in a couple of weeks and already I've been seeing changes in him.
Give her a big cuddle from me.

I'm bravely enduring a cold - been with me since Monday, so cancelled my normal remedial massage session - and needless to say my shoulder has decided to play up a bit - but like I said, I'm brave

It is old but probably the posts on PF showing it got deleted.

Really fed up today, I want to get up and get going but my damn pain simply won't let me do much.  I feel so ready inside if you know what I mean.
It's a lot more serious than my knee replacement Ops. When I fell as well as shattering the tibia bone, I yanked the replacement knee out of it's moorings. My GP told me she felt physically sick when she read the surgeons report, she told me it was a horrific injury. Sooooo, for a GP to say that, things must have been bad.
I am still using the zimmer frame am not steady enough to move over to walking sticks yet, also my balance is all over the place. I have the community physio coming in weekly and I'm working with her so hopefully things will improve soon. I am desperate to get back to the pool and start building up the leg strength. Not every day to start with, Monday Wednesday and Friday I thought, but I need to be able to drive again before I can do that. At the moment I doubt I could climb into my car.
I not the most patience of people anyway, but this is really starting to grate and I'm getting sooooooo bloody cranky.  :yell:

You'll get there as you are so determined to do so. Hope you soon get to a point where you can see the end of this.

Raven.. It is very easy for me to tell you that you are a trooper and will get there in the end.. You are living with this problem  every day and it must get you down..
But it's only you that can do it..
You are made of strong stuff.. Of course you will get pissed off .. I know I would.. We don't know what we would be like under the same circumstances..
My money would be on you.. every time..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..
