didn't leave the house yesterday - too treacherous underfoot. Hopefully today will be a bit better

First dip back in the pool for my exercise class yesterday. A walk to the library today, and the Christmas decs are coming down. 

Xmas/New Year decorations down on the forum too. 

Just back from my first swim of the year, how good it felt to be back in the water agaain. Heading over to Wick shortly for a big shop at Tesco and a walk with Dageus, other than that just catching up around the house.

My first day of feeling a bit normal again.   Just mooching, sleeping quite a lot off and on and drinking tea by the gallon - and me a coffee girl !  Just can't face coffee, really funny......

Sounds like you had traditional flu from that. I picked up the sore throat, coughing and blocked nose bug that seems to be very common now but it has only been an annoyance rather than serious.

No I didn't have flu, or a 'bug', not according to my doctor(s).  Over the years I've had Pleurisy twice, Pneumonia once, and various chest infections so when a virus hits my chest I know about it.

Two items from eBay. Arrived really early by post before I went fishing. 

Both wrong
Shoe laces. Ordered 100cm got 80cm.
Fishing shot. Sizes supplied different from the listing.

Two other items. 
A brochure from a place I haven't bought from in years.
Return of a death certificate I sent for the pointless control of proceeds from an account my father almost certainly emptied 20 years ago.

Still at least they seem to be catching up with the backlog.

My order arrived from Next.. Three dresses.. Two of them for the summer... 
THEY ALL FIT.. !!! That's got to be a first..
Yes, I am optimistic that Summer will soon come along..
