Thanks Mac. All done and dusted and hopefully the end of it. Clean bill of health pretty much subject to tests on the bit they took away. Annoyingly that cold I thought was done and dusted seems worse today than it has been. I suspect it may have gained some ground when I was on a low from taking that horrible clear out stuff.

Good news. Unfortunately these colds, infections and whatever seem to linger.  Two steps forward, one back.  My cough has disappeared, but has been replaced by sneezing and blocked nose.  Luckily thats getting better now too.

Keep taking the tablets!

I'm not fond of taking tablets. I have been using sudafed and paracetamol when I get to bed. Had been OK for several days but last night wasn't good with hacking cough. I'm guessing it was mucus running down the back of my throat that does the damage. Not bad now.

Thanks. I don't feel ill as such it's just an annoyance. One I thought I was past.

I've joine the club now, been in bed since yesterday.   Same as GM cough, headache, wheezing and stuff on my chest

Rotten isn't it Alex. Plenty of rest seems the main thing, I'm still sleeping more than usual even though I'm pretty much OK now.

Raining here.. I am separating the edges from a jigsaw puzzle.. 1000 pieces..
I don't normally do a jigsaw with such small  pieces.. But I will give it a go..

I'm pretty good at jigsaws.

I got one from the charity shop that said 6 to 9 years and I finished it in less than a month.

Afternoon Everyone, Well last day of a rotten year, hope next is better for us all. We have more blooming snow today but we should be ok to drive to the Village tonight for the Ceilidh if we take Himself's Land rover, I'll be the one driving us back as I don't drink, so he can enjoy a few.
We are just catching up on stuff we recorded off the telly this afternoon, then an early and light tea so we are fine tonight.
Have a good time no matter what your doing at midnight.

Just had a walk in the local park.. So many others doing the same.. No rain nor snow... nor gloves..

overnight about an inch of snow, now just above freezing, thick mist and drizzle

Afternoon, It's so bitter here today and very icy underfoot. Had a careful walk along the beach with The Hairy One and was glad to get back to the fire. Not going out again today so maybe have a wee while with my knitting before starting dinner. I think the pool reopens tomorrow, hope so as I'm starting to feel stiffer in my joints again.
