I'm bracing myself for tomorrow's Autumn Statement by Hunt the Chancellor.

Funnily enough what Hunt is usually called also starts with a C.

Triple lock? We'll see.

I'm off out for lunch with a couple of friends, one is quite a bit younger, still busy with work, and student offspring, it's nice shecan make it. Just wish it wasn't so wet out.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Wet n Windy here too, swimming at 9am today after I drop Dageus at the groomers to get a bath n haircut.
Seeing the Doctor myself this afternoon, it's been a long time since I saw her at the surgery and not the Leisure Centre.
Apart from that, just take it as it comes.

what I really dislike about the man, apart from the pain he is about to inflict upon us all, is that every picture that I have seen of him shows him with a supercilious smirk on his face, as though he is thinking to himself 'I'm really enjoying making everyone else miserable!'

I suspect we'll get the triple lock. Doubtless he will have been told by now that half of Tory voters are either retired or soon will be. Not that he will save the party as at least that many want the dinghy boys stopped and the failed claimants deported and that simply won't be happening. He and his band of useless tossers will be toast at the next election imo.

Whatever do you mean? There are plenty where he just looks plain weird....

I stand corrected - and after that pic, I hate him even more

Without much success

he always looks so bloody self-satisfied, even when he was doing his best to mess up the NHS

You never see Sunak without a big cheesey smile. Hunt always has staring eyes often accompanied by a smirk. We shouldn't judge these people by their appearance I suppose but I suspect that most of us will be influenced by it very much. Almost all of them with a few exceptions look to me like smug gits. It started with this fellow and has continued...

Morning, Still pretty wild here but the rain has now turned to drizzle. Just back from shopping and stopped to watch the ocean and drink my latte. The wee lighthouse is fair taking a pounding. [1080]
Got to haul furniture out of the bedroom shortly, then wash down the wall and paint some treatment on it as we found a biggish damp patch. Oh Joy.
