Quote from: JBR on September 14, 2022, 10:33:56 AMOh, that sounds a bit boring actually.
Why not put up a new thead on here?

BORING? REALLY? Well you can always scroll past any posts I write if they are so boring. OR, put me on ignore, why not do both, just to make sure you see none.

Aha! Looks like we've found our next contestants for the remake of Mr & Mrs.

I did post a reply to assure you that you are experiencing nothing more than my sense of humour, but then your post had gone.
Now your post is back, mine has disappeared!  What is going on here?

Deleting own posts is possible here. I suspect the other thing going on is maybe myopia as your post is still there.

Quote from: JBR on September 14, 2022, 10:54:05 AMNow now.  Calm down dear.  Just my sense of humour.

Oh, you've disappeared.  No wonder I couldn't quote you.
And now... for your next trick!

Isn't this the 'Good Morning' thread?..well if it is.
good morning to all You good People, and if anyone thinks Ravens post is boring, well, all I have done is shower, eat breakfast & clean My windows..which may be more boring, but it's not as boring as sitting at a computer or phone all morning disrespecting other Members post...now..that really IS boring.

IMO it was just a joke that relied on other posts elsewhere which probably were not read.

Move along please. Nothing to see here...

Look at the times!
Mine posted at 1054 was in response to Raven's posted at 1055!  How did that happen?
There are gremlins in the works, I'm sure of it.

The only other answer is that you did a bit of time travelling. There was a book and a film about a time travellers wife. Ask Marge  if she has noticed anything odd about you...

I did and, not surprisingly, yes she has noticed quite a lot of things odd about me.

Just to bore everyone further... I managed to set up a new telly today, the biggest challenge was fitting the base on the bloody thing !

klondike

Fixing it on the wall would have been a bigger challenge...

My day was the most boring..
Sat around wondering if I should do a bit of tidying-up in the garden.. By the time I had reached a decision it was too dark to even go out there.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I had some excitement.
I went to Lidl
I made an impulse purchase of a stand for an angle grinder. This follows on from my impulse purchase of a cordless angle grinder a couple of weeks or so ago.
I'll be taking it back next week. I can't get it to hold the angle grinder properly.

I did use the angle grinder. A garden chair has some plastic strands as a woven seat and seatback and they started fraying. I sawed it up with my angle grinder and put the bits in the dustbin. I was very proud. No blood. I am tempted to use it on the edge of the garden gate which has started sticking. I'm not sure I want that much excitement though.

Today I have made a decision .. I am not going to work in the garden..
and I will have a bacon sandwich later..
