I'm not venturing out either, it's far too hot for me.  The brolly is up in the garden so I may sit out there for a while, but I'm certainly not getting in the car today.

Just arrived in Wigan where today I'm the official photographer for Wigan Pride 2022. Don't worry, I won't post the pix here hahaha  

Nothing on today. 

Normally Saturday or Sunday is fishing day but last Sunday was a day of poor results as fish don't seem to like the sun blazing down all day and it was uncomfortable at times even in the shade of the boat canopy with all the back and sides rolled.

Just stepped out my front door and it's like getting off the plane in Spain !🌞   My new shoes arrived this morning, it's the first time I've bought shoes on line, as I usually like to try them on.   Hotter had a sale on so I took a chance, luckily they're very comfy 

Popped out quickly.. needed bananas.. I will not go out again today..
In doors and bra-less...

Just bought some Hotter Shore shoes for 39 pounds down from 89 pounds.. Result..

Today I shall be doing - not a lot! Yesterday's 7 hours photography in the baking sunshine have taken their toll.

7:30 Went into the park very early.. The lake has almost dried up.. The birds were gathered on a couple of small islands in the middle of the lake.. The land was brown.. no green..
 People were making the most of the cooler morning.. Three small children in the play area with their Grandma.. Who had bought them into the park so her daughter could sleep on..
A little dog pulled at it's lead to get to me..  He knew I liked him.. We had a sort of bond..
I took many pics.. 

We've just been to the woods.  We normally walk down to the river but I wasn't sure that I would be able to get back up the hill today so we cut the walk short.

We pass some football fields and there were several games about to start.  Paul was amused to notice one team diligently warming up and the other team having a fag!

I haven't been outside the house since Tuesday, I hate this weather I can't do anything without coming out in a sweat.  Hopefully I can go out tomorrow as it's in the early 20's.

If I ever moan about the cold again, please shut me up

I'm the same Jacq, I can't stand the heat either.  I stayed in yesterday, but sat out on the patio at 2am this morning - in my nightie    Rain by Tuesday, hopefully
