Quote from: -Oy- on July 26, 2022, 08:00:19 PMSpent the morning mooching about in the old village part of Heysham. Took lots of nice pix of the churches and shore.

Spent the rest of the day fuming at Facebook. They've suspended my account fpr 30 days (and Messenger and Instagram) because 6 months ago I responded to the launch of a new £5k camera that I couldn't afford with a smiling face and "Kidney for sale." I've asked for a review - we'll see.
Is that hate speech? how crazy can you get no sense of humour on Facebook. I must say I have seen far worse comments.

Morning, Dry and muggy here this morning. Got a surprise last evening, my son, daughter and one of the grands arrived unexpectedly. They decided to come up for my birthday tomorrow and we're all off out for a nice dinner in the evening to celebrate. :yahoo:
What we're doing today and tomorrow I don't know yet it's up to them, but I suspect Smoo Cave and Strathy Beach will be getting a visit.
Have a nice day.

My birthday was yesterday - had a grand meal with s-i-l and friends - I'm sure yours will be even better tomorrow!

Good Morning, Very early and our visitors are just away down the road, they want to be back in Perth and Dundee by lunch time. It's very cloudy and spitting with rain so I'm away with the Hairy One to the beach for an early walk then it's back to the usual routine for me. I feel like I've put on weight with all the food I've eaten over the last couple of days...Groan. Water Fast for the next 48 hours I think.
Have a nice day people.

Wet here this morning, nothing planned. Might even watch the football this aft.  Fingers crossed its a win for England.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

My garden now sorted so I have more time to sit and enjoy and do a bit of posting. Roxy had her morning walk in the rain. The rain as now stopped for the time being. Got a bit of repotting to do in the garden and that's about it for me to day. Going to watch the ladies play Germany which should be a good game. Win or lose they have done a world of good for ladies foot ball. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

My garden is in a bad way.. Most plants are scorched by the sun..
The grass is not greener down South..

Spent a while editing and sending off yesterdays photos from Morecambe Pride. No, I won't post them here. It wouldn't end well

Later I went to see Mum and figured out how to dismantle her new motobility scooter so I can get it in my car boot.

Day 1 of our new bathroom installation and we discovered that a big section of the floor and joists are rotten where the shower leaked and must be replaced! Deep Joy!
