Enjoy your break GrannyMac.... Plenty to do at Center Parcs...

I did an hour in the garden very early this morning before it gets too hot..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Have a good time GM :upvote:
I'm off to do boring food shopping, taking a friend who doesn't drive.  Weather is looking a bit grey here, so not much chance of sitting in the garden later.

Morning, Just off to the pool, hope it's not too busy but you can never tell on a Sunday. Didn't go out for dinner after all last evening just a quiet one at home.
There's a Surfing Competition on later today so I'll be heading over to the Reef, camera in hand.

Raven.. How I envy you having a surfing competition nearby.. Brings back some of my best memories watching the surfers .... Would love to go back..
I won the lottery last night.. 10 pounds..!!  I guess it's a start..

There are Surfers out on the Reef every day, in all weathers. They will have a good run this afternoon as the breakers are high and fast rolling, I popped round for a look on my way back from the pool.
If I had moved here when the kids were young they would both be Surfers, I'd have joined them in the Juniors Surfers Club and paid for them to get proper lessons,  as I know I'd have had a real job on my hands trying to keep them safe on the water.

I'm looking after my friend's cat for 10 days while she's away. Tonight there was no sign of him and I sat there until well after 10pm hoping he'd appear.  There's a cat flap so he can come and go, but he always comes for a fuss when I go at night, very worrying when they don't come home.

Alex... I am sure he will appear today.. for food..
Very warm here.. I am not going out anywhere.. staying put.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Start of the fishing season today. Very few of the fish seem to have been told though. Too sunny for them especially as the water is gin clear.

Ended as one decent fish and some small ones..

Struggling to get a drill bit out .. It broke off in the drill..
But I'm not a defeatist.. For some reason I am turning something the wrong way..
Tomorrow is another day..
Damned hot in these Southern parts.. There'll be a lynching..  :nooo:

Lucky you. We have cloud, rain, not high temperatures and it's muggy as hell. Real headache weather.  :scot:  [1100]

Out of what? If it's the wood or metal you were drilling it should be possible to grip it with mole grips or pliers and get it out. They can be brittle though so be very careful not to snap it off or you will be stymied because you wont be able to drill it out with any ordinary drill.

The cat came back ! I was so relieved
It's hot here today, too hot for me but I'm not going to complain.  My Grand-dogs were here this morning while their Dad fixed brackets on a new fan for me.  The older dog Dave is a sun worshipper and stood in front of the garden bench, looking at me and back to the bench, took me a minute of two to realise the cushions weren't out   The younger dog Maggie has more sense and heads for the shady areas in the garden.  They're Beagles, I love them to bits, but it's not a breed I'd recommend to anyone
