hugh

Take it easy Michael.

Looking out of the window trying to decide which jobs in the garden need doing first. With so many years of not being able to do much, it not been easy getting on top of it.

First morning in the new house! Very tired after a long stressful day yesterday. We found a nice local craft beer bar and a pizza place in the evening so that's a good start!

Busy Morning, Chiropractor appointment at 9am, home to collect Dageus and drive over to Wick. Big shop at Tesco's there, and a cliff walk afterwards for Dageus. Got nothing planned for this afternoon, will take it as it comes.

Massage 1530 and that is about it apart from watching the traffic - the village High Street is closed for resurfacing (and did it need it) and a lot of folk have realised that not being able to use the A94 to get to Perth they can use our lane to get to the A93. There has already (0900) been a lot more traffic past the house than I would see in two or three days. Coming back from Veronica's grave yesterday - half a mile - I had to make way for 8 cars, two large lorries, one VERY large lorry, and a Range Rover towing a horse box. The lane is so narrow that had any of those lorries met something equally big coming the other way, they could not have passed each other - and there's another ten days of this to come.
If the lane wasn't so fraught for pedestrians with this amount of traffic, I'd walk to Veronica, but too dangerous

Delivery coming and I had hoped to get out too. It's a big item and I don't want to trouble the neighbours with it. I find this DHL tracking pretty useless. It doesn't even give me a clue if the thing will arrive this morning or this afternoon. I much prefer Amazon and DPD tracking. Still better than the likes of Yodel where you usually don't get any at all so don't even know the day.

Ah that's better. They have just sent a text giving a one hour slot like DPD do.  :upvote:
