I've never actually understood the various lines that show how mine is calculated.

Assuming you have enough extra taxed income to pay tax and the tax rates remain unchanged that 25p is worth a maximum of 20p. I think you may be allowed to spend it how you like though which is a bonus,

We are driving down to Perth today for a week or so, I have an appointment at PRI for a Bone Scan on Thursday morning to see if I have Brittle Bones, the surgeon at Ninewells set this up, after the mess my leg was in from that fall last winter. It's taken 14 months for this appointment to come around, so I'd better not miss it.

I hope it goes well Raven. Osteoporosis creeps up on us in older age, my mum had it. 

I signed the agreement yesterday for a new knee! It took ages to eventually get a diagnosis, but once I saw the consultant, its things have moved on.   Should be sorted within a few months, fingers crossed 🤞🏼.

Good luck to both of you, nobody warns us of the 'delights' old age can bring
