do you remember going to the schools day out , that is going to an inter school sports day where schools competed for a cup,
well i did but didn't win any thing, my brother nearer to my age dodge it simply went and simply went home having shown his face,
i learned many years later that my son did exactly the same shows his face then after half an hour went off with his school chums and the school even didn't know he had gone , or even his mates too,.
I'm sure he wasn't the only one,

I don't remember sports days. It's probably an innate defensive mechanism operating.
I hated most sports at school, hockey was the worst.
Oops, I used to play Hockey for Perth. So did my sister then she moved out to Aus. Played for them then the international matches and finally she got the job of Match Organiser for the International Teams, travelled the world fixing up everything.
