Must admit that I hadn't heard of him for many years - best known number was 'Edelweiss'. He has just died aged 89

now I set my rubbishy memory to work, not only with M&W, didn't he have a sort of evening show on a regular basis years ago?

He was. I liked his singing. His only son died a few years ago, tragic for his parents.
