People will be fined for peeing in the sea.. !!!!
So. Whilst in the sea do not stand still and stare out in space.. Never show a relieved smile..
and above all do not pull the chain..!!

Have you ever noticed , when sitting on the beach, that a guy will suddenly get up.. casually stroll down to the water .. walk in up to his waist.. look out to the horizon and after a moment, stroll back .. What's all that about.. !!

Not up here, it's freezing in that water. Doesn't warm up even in the summer. You'd have to be nuts to go in for a dip here. 😱
What about the sewage going out into the sea and rivers? in particularly bad weather untreated sewage is still discharged. When I lived by the sea in Devon you would often see brown looking slicks across the estuary and on the beach, Surfers Against Sewage were very active, they found all sorts, sanitary towels etc. Sort that lot out before fining people for peeing in the sea.
Very much a case of 'Mens Rea' to be established I would suggest?

A symposium (for want of a better description) I attended back in the early 70s was held on the Hants south coast - with my memory I won't risk libeling a town - but what I do remember was one the speakers, a local GP, explaining that off the local beach 'you don't swim, you just go through the motions'
