With the turn out of voters less than 30% in England, can we really take the results seriously.

The Tories got a drubbing - that's all that matters :grin:

30% turnout says that 70% thought none of them were worth the effort of voting. I'd go along with that.

Yes they did get a drubbing in London but for the rest of UK its the kind of results which is expected. To be honest I expected Labour to do far better.

I heard a bit on the radio that said Tories had 30% vote share which is usually very bad news but Labour only got 35% which was down on expectations. Looks like minor parties and independents must have done well.
