I need to make my screw holes sink into the wood so that the screws are not sticking out..
Do I have to buy a drill bit .. If I do.. what is it called please and do they come in different sizes..?

A 'countersink bit' is likely the one you need Scrumpy. The hardware guy will know more..

Thank you Zoony.. I have ordered the bits..They are in different sizes so I guess one of them will be fine.. They are being delivered tomorrow..Thanks to Amazon Prime.
