It's a lovely view for sure. My best one was quite a few years ago as the Queen Mary II left to a firework display!
I was on the Hythe ferry within 100 yards of her as she left on her maiden voyage to New York with floats and sirens galore -

Totally agree Alex. Liverpool has some fabulous buildings and it is a very friendly city. I haven't been shopping there for a while for obvious reasons but ladies chat happily to strangers in the shops.
If you've never been to Liverpool you'll be amazed, well worth a visit.
