... it's working ok.. I have just tested it..  I was cooking pancakes...

I wonder how often most folks test via the button.

I do know the exact occasion I did last. It was when I noticed that the wired in ones the electrician put in were coming up to their end date. They had been discontinued so complete replacement rather than a slide in replacement unit would be needed. I just added extra battery ones costing about £5 each rather than the £30+ each for wired in ones. That would be about 2 years ago. I should probably test them. I will.

Microwave ones are fine and a lot easier.

My kids loved pancakes, it was one of our at home day treats to cook pancakes and have them with strawberry jam.  Oh I want one now :smiley:

Once the word pancake was mentioned  the alarms went out of my head:grin:
