The conversation got around to the cost of alcohol..
It can be OVER 11 pounds for a Gin and Tonic in the London area..
How can anyone afford to be an alcoholic.. ?
I doubt if G & T costs that much in a typical pub. Maybe in an exclusive club or top hotel. Mind you last time I bought beer it was 1/3d a pint.
Gin & Tonic up here costs £5 at least. :rolleyes:
I reckon the real alcoholics buy it in bottles in the shop. Pubs are for social drinkers.
