Title: Old times..
Post by: Scrumpy on March 25, 2023, 07:38:15 AM

Listening to Tony Blackburn this morning Radio 2..
What a delight.. Good old favourites from way back..
Even his jokes are dated.. !!
Life was so simple back then..

I really only recall him from appearances on Top of the Pops and must admit I had no idea that he was still working on the radio. At least he hasn't been disgraced as several others in similar jobs have been over the years.

He always struck me as squeaky clean.  Good for him to still be working!

I didn't know how old he was..
I just happened to catch him on the radio.. Easy going broadcaster and I recognized the songs he played.. There are so many songs out there that I don't understand..
