Completely agree, very logical, which is why it will never happen. It's far too practical for the party going millenials at 10 Downing Street to legislate.

Still at least his measly piddle pot loan plan has hopefully ended the career of the multi millionaire opportunist at number 11.

:hmm:  Now why do I think that somehow instead of getting the £1,000 off I'll be paying £40 extra for the next 10 years on top of the astronomical bill?

The bloke is an energy company boss. I imagine he wants to stave off a raft of bad debts that he'll have no chance of recovering.
