Post by: Diasi on November 07, 2022, 07:03:23 PM
As the only world leader who looks shorter than Macron.

I think there will be more 'new records' from Fishy over the coming months.

Most seats lost?

Perhaps he's aiming to beat the Canadian Tories in 1993?

From 157 seats down to 2

I've just noticed that that article precedes the Johnson 80 seat majority which was, imo at least, gifted to him by Farage. Now another fiasco faces them and I don't think they will be so lucky in the next election.

Highest amount of our money given away overseas.  Why should we pay the likes of Pakistan millions of £ to help them handle climate change ? :yell:

"Rishi Sunak confirms the UK will stick to its goal of providing £11.6bn in climate funding - and it will triple its funding on adaptation to £1.5bn by 2025. "

The PM says he believes this is the "right thing to do".

He's a Globalist, like his fellow pint sized idealist, Macron. That patent protected pudding-brain 'Al Gore' opened the Egyptian idiot show by wanting the 'people' to contribute $4 Trillion now, to even more crazy schemes.

Broken on the wheel of their crazed money printing, lockdown created, busted economies and afraid to heat themselves the majority of ordinary folk must look on in amazement at whats going on out there? They all need certifying and locking away!

is the man mad? It's the only explanation I can think of that doesn't have truly sinister overtones.

There has certainly been a lot of public outrage at this indian's profligacy. Apart from being installed against the public's and party's wishes, he's filling the country with illegal immigrants and borrowing money to give to countries that don't need it. If this does not destroy the conservative party there is something wrong.

The only reason it won't is if things are sorted by 2024.

So...
The dinghy boys are stopped and deportation of illegals clears the backlog.
Pensioners are not crapped on two years in a row (or more).
Inflation is halted.
Energy prices stabilise at an affordable level.
Tory infighting stops.
There is a boom market in umbrellas protecting folk from flying pig poop.

£11.6 billion is more or less what it would cost him to honour the Triple Lock manifesto pledge.

If they insist on making them in then all these payments overseas should come out of the foreign aid buget.

But the foreign aid budget is something that shouldn't exist anyway, & most certainly not at a time when our own public spending is being cut.

I'd agree but it is something they insist on. Probably in the manifesto as well. If they are going to have a virtue signalling pot then all the virtue signalling should come out of it.

I pay my taxes and want my money to benefit the British. If there is more money to go around then our taxes should be reduced or pay off our deficit, not give to foreigners we do enough of that already.

I completely agree.
When we were a rich country, then foreign aid was a good idea because it kept our allies on our side.
Unfortunately, we are heading toward becoming a poor country in many ways.
What money we have should be spent on us and our country, and I exclude all the illegal immigrants who we continue to pay for in our taxes.
I believe we should really push for a new government, and not the usual two: Conservative and Labour, as both are interested only in their own well-being at our expense.

foreign aid - a system whereby poor people in rich countries become poorer and rich people in poor countries become richer

From a former and senior foreign office contact I was once told its the 'Bung Fund' used to cross greasy foreign palms with. The 'British Council' are the front (a charity supposedly!)
