I love a hairy chest on a man myself and as he's sitting down, you can't tell he's a short arse.

I want some resolution to illegal immigration, Europe can't take in the rest of the world, they need to get their own countries up to scratch.  However, I don't want extreme government right or left.

France and England have had a chequered past, not the UK. Scotland and France were allies in the dim and distant.

I found it amusing that despite all the mainstream media labelling Le Penn as "Far Right" the latest bit of scare mongering seems to be that should she gain the French Presidency she would be cosying up to Putin.

I'm a bit lost with all this Far Left, Far Right baloney anyway. Hitler was labelled Far Right (despite being leader ofthe National Socialists) and Putin as a  supposed communist and so Far Left looks no different at all to me. Both totalitarian dictators.

I read that Marine Le Pen obtained loans from Russian banks for her National Rally party because she was blocked by France from obtaining a loan from French or EU banks.

Citizens of African origin have some influence on the outcome of the election: Some 3.2 million people of African descent live in France, most of whom have connections to either Algeria, Morocco or Tunisia.

One in ten inhabitants — 6.8 million in total — are immigrants. Among this group, 2.5 million hold a French passport and are thus eligible to cast votes.

Hmmm...

I suppose they won't be supporting Le Pen then.....

I'd love to see Macron ditched. I suspect you would too even if he does have a hairy chest (or possibly a chest wig).

For non German speakers who don't know Google is one...

Hmm.. bits in that suggest that some of those French immigrants are more French than many of ours are British.

Nahounou has been supporting the far-right politician for ten years - and also defends her restrictive position on immigration: "Marine is not racist at all. Every foreigner who wants to live in France should respect the values of the republic; that's the minimum so that we can live together be able." One must respect and be grateful to France and not trample on it, says Nahounou: "Anyone who can't stand the French and can't live with them can leave France at any time."
