What The Media Isn't Telling You About The Labour Party

The Labour Party is far more divided that the Tory Party & anyone stupid enough to vote for Labour, on the basis of wanting a Labour government, won't get a Labour government.

Dear Phil,
The Tories are in meltdown. Truss is on the brink, the tax cuts have been reversed and they're at record lows in the polls. Labour could be set for hundreds of new MPs.
But who will they be, and who chooses who gets to stand? Today, amidst Tory turmoil, the Labour Leadership again abused process to lock out the Left. After a series of blockings of left candidates up and down the country, the latest is Emma Dent Coad - the only Labour MP Kensington has ever had.
There is no one who has fought harder for the people of Kensington than Emma Dent Coad. For twenty years she has fought tirelessly for her community, particularly on housing issues so vital to a community scarred by Grenfell.
What's more, she was entitled to be on the longlist. She has backing from multiple trade unions, and is Labour Group Leader on the Council. This comes shortly after the blocking of Maurice Mcleod in Peckham and Camberwell, another Labour councillor and long-time anti-racist activist.
Phil, the Labour machine is out of control. Local members are being robbed of their say in deciding who represents them, and our leadership is alienating the Labour Party from the communities we should represent.
Meanwhile, attacks on the working class are ramping up. Today, the newly appointed chancellor Jeremy Hunt announced that the government's commitment to energy bills support during a cost-of-living crisis will be cut. Yet the Tories will be pressing ahead with the uncapping of bankers' bonuses.
Millions of people across the country are struggling in this Tory cost-of living crisis, yet Keir Starmer is intent on attacking the only people offering real solutions.
Find out more about Emma's blocking here, and share our statement demanding an end to the factional abuse of process.

The labour party should be renamed today as it has no connection to working people, it represents career politicians and loud mouthed minorities and that's about it.

We call them Tory Lite. There's not a lot of difference at all.  :nooo:

Amen to that, bring back Nuremberg style trials.  They should all be done for Treason against the native British people.

Call me naive, but if Labour is trying to " lock out the left " isn't that a good thing ?

Michael Rolls

I would think so - unless reinforced from the barrel of a gun, far left policies have failed each and every time that they have been attempted

Those of us who remember Livingstone's takeover of the GLC are wary of the looney left.

If they tell their supporters who they have to vote for, it's just like China does.

If the Labour Party members want loony left, or true socialists as they really are, MPs then they're entitled to vote for them.

Ken Livingstone's old looney left were pussycats compared to the new looney left.

It was the overnight coup that saw Livingstone given the top job .And Corbyn's sidekick, McDonnel was a leading light.
