Eventually someone will be killed, either by intended, or unintended reaction to these idiots. Section 90 of the United Kingdom's Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000 (which only extends to England and Wales) states: "Where a person convicted of murder or any other offence the sentence for which is fixed by law as life imprisonment appears to the court to have been aged under 18 at the time the offence was committed, the court shall (notwithstanding anything in this or any other Act) sentence him/her to be detained during His Majesty's pleasure.

This Act should be amended for this area of offence to be included for a period of detention not exceeding 12 months. These miscreants would then see how the legal system works in reverse for their appeals etc, costing a fortune to challenge!

But of course, as with everything else nothing will happen and we all know it!

I'd rather see the sentence specified as not less than 12 months.....

Me too, but the wets that control the House of Lords will never permit anything to alter I'm afraid. It's just a comforting thought at times though

There should certainly be a criminal conviction and either jail time or a very substantial fine. Before everything went into the melting pot again one home secretary or other was promising that they would be prevented from causing disruption. But that was then.

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

A gang of them have now occupied Parliament ! How on earth did they get in ?  I'm sure others have been to Parliament, but when I went I needed a pass and the policeman at the gate had mine ready.  You can't just walk in, so someone hasn't been doing their homework.

Were any in possession of barrels with bits of string hanging out and dribbling a bit of black powder?

Alex

Nope, the barrel was obviously too big

Clearly, the German people at VW have the right idea.
Let them stay in the unheated and unlit building, glued to the floor and being obliged to soil themselves.

As others have suggested, we could have left them hanging from a road bridge in Londonistan, again being obliged to soil themselves.

As for the motorway idiots, it would be one thing to leave them glued to the road but for the fact that they could stay there and enjoy soiling themselves!  I think in such instances, when others are waiting to get about with their business, they should simply be picked up, ripping off skin from their hands, and moved to the side of the road.
If they then show some sense and bugger off, OK.  If not, they should then be picked up again (perhaps ripping some more skin away) and taken for a little ride and deposited in the middle of nowhere, which would save the need for a great deal of time and paperwork in arresting and charging them.
