And not just the music - we were young!
Mike
.. and stuff was cheaper.
More or less everything was better.
I can still listen to the music, the instructor was playing Motown stuff at the pool today. I'm now sitting in my comfy warm paid for house, debating what to eat tonight (several choices in fridge and freezer). The car 🚘 has petrol in it, our income is guaranteed, we don't even have to go to work for it, the only thing missing is being young. And we did that.
We had it quite tough at times, so I'm quite grateful for my life as it is now. But the music was definitely better!
No argument there!
Mike
I'd agree about the music, it was wonderful to be young in the 1960s, but life is more comfortable than it was back then.

Music was much better then.
Musics always been better in the past, and youngsters will always disagree. Each generation have its own taste in music.
I agree Hugh. It's feeling young, first loves, having lots of optimistic energy and still finding out about the world that we remember about our wonderful youths as much as the music..
