Could be a fuse
It could well be now that she says more than one bulb isn't working.

In which case more than one bulb wouldn't work.
She said two - which is why I said fuse.

Yes I know, I hadn't seen that she'd amended her problem to two bulbs not working when I replied.

If it was a fuse there would be a whole raft of bulbs not working and none of the indicators. See my earlier post on which fuse the indicators are probably on depending on year.

Unbelievable !! .. I checked this morning.. They are working.. All of them..!!!
Obviously something isn't quite right.. But I will bide my time before putting her into a garage..

I remember a few months back my speed indicator got stuck for a few days.. Then righted itself..
Could it be that she is just an old lady .. !!
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Keep you fingers crossed. One of those links I made mentioned that the flasher control unit did other stuff too and cost £200

My daughter's car (my old 308) has a similar problem but that sounds like a bad earth as none of the bulbs in that cluster work. I'll probably end up trying to fix that. Google says its a common fault with those.

Absolutely Scrumpy ! a drop of rainwater in the works maybe ?

My neighbour  (over the fence) said that he sometimes has problems with the electrics in his motor.. which is far younger than mine..
Problems that often right themselves..

With bulbs it can just be a bit of corrosion messing up the contact.

I don't really want to trade her in..

Spot on IMO. If it's an old car it isn't worth anything anyway and any you buy secondhand can have more problems than the one you are replacing. New cars lose several thousand just by being driven off the forecourt for the first time.

She was a lovely new motor when I bought her..
I wouldn't want anyone else turning her steering wheel.. !!!

How old is the lady?
